I am currently a senior at at Leopold R-3 High School in Leopold, Missouri in August 2020. I am a member of the BETA club and I am a member of the Cape Girardeau Police Explorer Program. These two programs teach me teamwork and leadership, as well as integrity and honesty.
I know that grades are very important in getting into a college for any sport, and I strive to be the best student-athlete that I can be. On the field, I take practices very seriously and try to learn something new every practice. I am a hard worker on and off of the field. I've played baseball ever since I was 5 years old and my passion for the sport continues to grow. I have been utilized as a RHP all three years of my high school year, and expect to be one of the primary starting pitchers during my senior year for our fall and spring baseball seasons. In addition to playing on our high school baseball team for the past three years, I also played on a local Babe Ruth team for the past three years and I was primarily used as a starting pitcher, although I have played third base, second base, occasionally first base, and been used as a relief pitcher when needed. During my Freshman summer, I was selected to participate in the Babe Ruth All-Star tournament and pitched two games and also played third base. While we did not advance past the first round of tournament play, it was a valuable experience for me and my baseball career.
As I look toward senior year of high school, I am looking to continue to improve my pitch selection and velocity as a pitcher, my ability in playing the infield positions I'm placed in, and improve my batting average.
