Colby Smith '21 Recruiting Profile

My goals are to be the best I can be in school academics, baseball and just as an individual. I enjoy playing baseball and aspire to make a career of it one day. I work hard and dedicate much time to the sport. 

Baseball has been played for many generations in my family.  My Grandfather had an opportunity to play for the St. Louis Browns during his time, but his father would not let him due to needing help to support the family and so went to work instead.  My Father, played Semi-Pro ball for the St. Joseph Mustangs back in the early 80's.  I have been playing since I have been able to hold a bat and have been on select teams for the last 4 years. So, baseball is in our blood.

I am easy to get along with and able to make friends quickly no matter where I go.  I catch on quickly when shown new things.
