Jassan Martín Medrano Alvarado '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello.

My name is Jassan Medrano. I am a freshman who has traveled to the United States from Mexico to pursue my dreams.I am a Plainsmen in Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado. Who has the ambition I have always wanted to pursue a career as a professional baseball player. I diligently studied the sport and dynamics to help me reach optimal levels. My heroes are Derek Jeter, Manny Machado, Aaron Judge, Mike Trout and Todd Stottlemyre. Once I retire from major league baseball, I have a desire to move on to coaching baseball and training athletes to achieve success. 

After spending my youth playing baseball, I have spent most of my time on the field playing SS and 3B, but I can play Pitcher and 1B. That being said, I am versatile and can play any position. I want to make sure my team has everything they need to win, so I can learn to excel at each position to further help the team.

In addition to higher athletic training, I also believe in the power of completing my education. I want to complete a degree in Business. This will help me succeed in the industry when I retire from my major league career.  

My personal belief is that to win in baseball and in life, you must be a good person. Respect is the key to success.

Mi nombre es Jassan Medrano. Soy un estudiante de primer año que ha viajado a los Estados Unidos desde México para perseguir mis sueños. Que tiene la ambición Siempre he querido seguir una carrera como jugador de béisbol profesional. He estudiado diligentemente el deporte y la dinámica para ayudarme a alcanzar niveles óptimos. Mis héroes son Derek Jeter, Manny Machado, Aaron Judge, Mike Trout y Todd Stottlemyre. Una vez que me retire del béisbol de las grandes ligas, tengo el deseo de pasar a entrenar béisbol y capacitar a los atletas para alcanzar el éxito.

Después de pasar mi juventud jugando al béisbol, he pasado la mayor parte de mi tiempo en el campo jugando SS y 3B, pero puedo jugar Pitcher y 1B. Dicho esto, soy versátil y puedo jugar en cualquier posición.
