Hello, my name is Tye Ommert, I go to Auburn High School in Auburn Nebraska, and I am in the graduating class of 2021. I first started playing baseball when I was 3 years old and ever since then, I have just really bonded with the game. I started tee-ball when I was 5 years old, coach pitch when I was 7, and city rec. baseball when I was 9. I started playing for a travel team called the Auburn Bombers when I was 11 years old and my love for the game really too. I played for the Bombers until I was 14. Growing up, I was very undersized and was within the smallest 5th percentile of size and weight. Over the years I have learned that I am very competitive and observe leadership like qualities. As I am going into my 11th-grade year of high school, my goals for the year are letters in every sport, high academic honors, and a 28 or better on the ACT.
Thank you for taking the time to read my statement,
Tye Ommert
