My name is Kevin Cahoy and I will be a senior at Grand Island Senior High School. I just finished senior legion baseball season. I led the team in batting at .456, up from .395 last year. I switched from third base to centerfield and was all-conference. Our team finished 3rd in state. I would like to play baseball in college. I didn't play high school baseball as I ran track and won the Nebraska Class A pole vault. My personal record is 16 feet. I was second team Nebraska All-State at outside linebacker last football season. We finished the football season ranked #4 in Class A. I am one of the captains for the upcoming year. I am 6'1/2" tall and weigh 180 pounds. I run the forty yard dash in 4.70, have a 33" vertical jump, 9'4" broad jump and bench press 280 pounds. I have the fastest 10 yard dash on the football team. I believe this helps me tremendously in centerfield. I have football highlight on HUDL.COM if you would like to view those to get an idea of athletic ability. I am ranked first in my class of 517 with a 4.12 GPA. I would like to go to medical or dental school someday. People that are familiar with me that you can contact are Kash Kalkowski, Brian Frew, and Whitey Richardson here in Grand Island. Kash recently finished playing at Nebraska, Brian played at U of N - Omaha and with the Phillies organization. They helped coach the legion team this year. Whitey was the head baseball coach at Louisiana Tech until about 10 years ago and played in the MLB. As a three sport athlete I only had a chance to train my baseball skills for 3 months out of the year. I believe that when I have a chance to train for baseball year around in college, I will be an asset to any college team. My email is [email protected] and my family's email is [email protected].
