Personal Statement

I have many goals on my way to finding the right college and the future for me. I feel I would make a good candidate for a college baseball team with not only my athletic ability but academic ability and character. I have always tried my best to work hard and make the best decisions for myself. Some goals of mine are to always try to be the hardest worker in the room, always make the right choice, even if isn't what I want to do, and to try and motivate other people to try their best also and be the best version of themselves as they can. From a young age, it was taught to me that school is more important than sports, pushing me to constantly get good grades and maintain a 4.0 GPA. In athletics, I have always participated in multiple sports (football, basketball, track, baseball) every year from the time I was in elementary school. I believe constantly practicing and playing this wide variety of sports has not only bettered me in one specific sport but also in all the others; and also teaching me valuable life lessons such as responsibility, time management, leadership, and accountability. I always appreciate any feedback I can get in order to better myself as an athlete and also as a person. If I'm ever struggling in any aspect of the game, I will always work harder to fix anything I need too in order to help the team.
