September 2017Personal Statement
I am a hard-working, driven, student-athlete and pride myself on being described by coaches and teammates as having great character and strong work-ethic. I am a left-handed pitcher with impressive movement on my fastball, a changeup that dives away from the plate and a virtually unhittable curve ball. I am focused on continually improving command of my pitches, which will become easier once I stop growing. At the plate, I am a line drive, gap to gap hitter who can execute for any situation.
I am a family oriented person who loves to hang out with my dog, family and friends. I have worked hard in high school and am looking forward to continuing my academic excellence in college while continuing to play baseball. While I have not decided exactly on a major, I am very interested in health care and/or teaching.
I am looking for a quality education with a competitive baseball program where I can contribute and continue to develop and grow my acumen as a student, player and individual.
