Eli Horner '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Eli Horner. I am currently in my Senior year at Plattsmouth High School and have been playing baseball for 11 years. I am an all-around athlete and enjoy playing several sports, but baseball is my passion. I am excited to say that I had a great 2023 Season! I broke a few school records individually, and with our team. Our Varsity team participated in the State tournament for the first time in our school history, and our Senior Legion Team won the Class B State Tournament!  I am ready to work hard to make the next season just as exciting. 

I have been fortunate to have coaches with various coaching styles and personalities. Each coach has helped me to become the player I am today. I have learned about integrity, endurance, commitment, determination and mental toughness. I have overcome challenges by putting in the work and using criticism to make me a tougher, more well-rounded player. 

I play several positions, including first base, outfied, and some pitching. I am a versatile team player and will work hard to help our team be the best possible. I am looking for a program that will give me an opportunity to continue playing at the next level and will help me to reach my full potential.  I am committed to taking my skills and talents to the next level and am excited to grow as a person and player.
