Dear Coaches,
Baseball is what I am most passionate about. I have loved it since I started T-ball when I was five and have dedicated myself to making a career out of it. I enjoy working hard and doing everything possible to improve my abilities both mentally and physically. I have been blessed with many opportunities and tools to better myself as not only a baseball player, but as a teammate, leader, and human being.
My primary position is catcher, but I also am used as a utility player in the infield as a 2nd/3rd baseman, as well as in the outfield. I love being a catcher, but I am also happy to play whichever position that helps my team succeed.
Academic success is also an important part of who I am. I have always strove to do my best in the classroom. My cumulative weighted GPA in High School is 3.787 and my weighted GPA for my Junior year was 3.93; my current class rank is 103 of 408. I scored 24 on the ACT in February of 2020. I have high expectations for myself and plan to retake the test to improve my score.
Leading by example and helping others has also been a passion of mine. From tutoring classmates to community service via National Honor Society and DHS Block D (Varsity athletics community involvement program), I have enjoyed giving back to the community I live in.
So far I have attended two college-specific camps in California: William Jessup U (Oct 2019) and Sonoma State U (Jan 2020). I also plan to play in several showcase tournaments with Team EPB coached by Joey Davis. If you are interested in seeing my summer and fall schedule, please let me know and I will be happy to send it to you.
