Jason Daly '25 Recruiting Profile

As a dedicated and driven baseball player, I have immersed myself in the world of competitive baseball since I can remember.  I am proud to have been a part of top teams such as East Coast Lumberjacks, East Coast Elite, and Interstate in New York.  I have been playing Varsity Baseball since a 9th grader and played JV baseball as an 8th grader.  I have been able to showcase my pitching skills at prestigious national tournaments for Perfect Game (PG) and Prep Baseball Report (PBR) traveling to tournaments in GA, FL, NJ, NC, DE, OH and AL.  In 2022, I was the 18th ranked right-handed pitcher in the state of New York by PBR.  I have also been named an All-Tournament pitcher at 4 PG events.  As I enter my junior year of high school and compete in the 17U class, my primary role is that of a right-hand pitcher earning the spot as starter, with a fastball consistently reaching 84 mph.  To hone my skills and strength, I train consistently 5 days a week at Velo U, one of NY's top baseball training facilities.

Off the field, I maintain a strong commitment to my academic pursuits, holding a GPA of 3.9 and a weighted GPA 4.2.  I am actively engaged in advanced coursework, including AP U.S. History, AP Computer Science, AP Environmental Science, AP World History, Honors Pre-Calculus and Honors Italian, while also being a member of National Society of High School Scholars.  

My ultimate goal is to leverage both my athletic talent and academic achievements to secure a place at a prestigious university and continue my baseball journey at the collegiate level.  I believe my work ethic, dedication and unwavering commitment make me a valuable addition to any team.
