Growing up I have always been a very athletic kid. I've played basketball, football, i've competed in swimming, but I never really had the love for any of those sports like I do for baseball. Since I was around seven years old, i've been playing this sport I love and have been happy to go to every practice and every game I had. I grew up wanting to be like my brother and looking up to him, who was always one of the best players in his class. Sadly he did not get the opportunity to play at the next level, and I want to do what he couldn't and make him proud. I've been a third basemen and a pitcher since little league, and have been playing first base for a little while. As a 6'1 and 190 pound kid, I am strong and have a very good arm. Other than my physical capabilities, I truly believe that you are not a good player if you are not a good teammate. Picking up a teammate and having a good connection with everyone and becoming a family is one of the most important things in baseball, as this game is very much a team sport. When the team feels like a family and everyone has good chemistry, that is when a team wins games. My goal is to be on a team, but not just that. I want to compete and play the hardest I can play to win every inning of every game. Baseball is a game I truly love, and hope to continue playing it at the next level.
