I've been playing the game since I was little, and through out the time, the passion and love I had for baseball just grew bigger and bigger every time I played. I value all my teammates with respect and as a ally. I never really thought of perusing a college career for baseball until middle school where everything started to get a little more competitive over time. The feeling of playing ball just gives me a excited feeling because I know I'll be playing the sport I love and build on my experience time to benefit my skill set. To me, if you aren't enjoying baseball, you aren't playing it correctly. Yes, sometimes it is very important to take the game seriously, but at the same time it's also important to recognize that you don't want to make a game you love miserable. Being apart of a chance of going to college will really make me known especially in my family. I'd be the first member to go to college in my family for a sport and academic. I want to live my brother's and mother's dream in college for them. As a scholar athlete, I have to persevere through a timely fit schedule that includes keeping my grades up, training everyday, and easing my mind to start the next day. I hope to not only make my family proud but to also make my coach's proud because they know the hard work I put in will benefit me into a lifelong memory in college.
