My goal is to play college ball, and keep going on with my baseball career. In the off season I practice about 5 days a week and work out every night or 4 days out of 7. As i'm going into 9th grade I want colleges to already be watching me so they can see how i progress throughout my high school career. My next year goal is to be pitching 75 mph consistently.

- Won the first game had about 10 plays at shortstop with no errors. Second game I pitched a 1 hitter almost a no hitter but one of my teammates had an error which happens. Championship game I played shortstop and had a couple catches and a routine ground ball play and I had one error which was a bad throw from pitching 102 pitches the game before that, and we lost the championship because the other team hit a ball that was about 4 balls foul but the umpire was behind the mound and couldn't see anything and called it fair which had them score two runs, then last inning we were rallying and we had the tying run on 3rd base with bases loaded and 1 out and it was an infield fly rule that the umpire didn't call till after the infielder dropped it and they got a double play because of it and won the game.

- Battista performed excellent at SS/P, but team couldn't complete easy plays while Battista on the mound. went 0-2. championship playoffs are set for 8/29 do to rain out on 8-2

- Do to arm injuries of two other pitchers. Battista carried the team in championship. Team went for 4-0, 1 seed and took 1st place in championship game.

- went 5-1 in league pool. combined 13u-14U. Battista enjoys going against older kids as they play more at his level. only 14 u to beat them was his other CNS summer league team he plays for during week as well. :-) he didn't pitch that game, but shutdown anything to shortstop,.
