Hello,
My name is Bryan Taveras, and I am currently preparing both mentally and physically for my Junior year at John S. Burke Catholic High School in Goshen, New York. During my first two years of high school I was looked at as an athlete who tried his hardest to overcome any obstacle. I’m also accustomed to pitch in high pressure situations. I take care of my arm year round by stretching, working out and throwing bullpen sessions. I am always open to the critiques I receive from my coaches in order to make me a better player. I’m very dedicated to my classwork as that should always come before Baseball. Baseball is what I live for and I want to make my name known in my last 2 years of High School. I would be a great fit for your program because I will continue to work hard and through any obstacle no matter how challenging. I will not let anything stop me from feeding my inner beast and achieving what I’ve wanted my entire life. During my offseason I will continue to work out and take care of my arm while building up my core and legs to increase my velocity. Last off-season I gained 12 healthy pounds and will look to increase that as this winter slowly approaches. My GPA is a 3.5 and I am striving to reach my maximum potential. I will continue to work hard both in the classrooms and on the field resulting in constant improvements.
