October 2017Personal Statement
Over the summer I played with Team Elite Nation 16u and Team Elite Prime 15u, two of the top teams in the country. I continued to improve my velocity by following the Ron Wolforth program at the Texas Baseball Ranch.
My biggest strengths on the field are poise (even coming in with bases loaded, 3-0 count), a high baseball IQ and being able to field my position. I am athletic overall and also made Varsity basketball as a freshman and sophomore.
I am equally strong off the field, earning a 95+ average in 9th and 10th grades while taking honors courses at a competitive private school. I am a leader in the classroom and among my teammates which is why I volunteer with the Athletes for Athletes tutoring group at school.
I'm looking forward to studying science in college and have an interest in becoming a medical doctor, veterinarian, or physical therapist. My goal is to find the right school where I can play baseball and pursue these interests.
