Baseball is more than just a game to me, it's my life. At a very young age I gravitated to the game and have not turned back since. Being a center fielder in little league, I quickly learned the importance of teamwork and communication since the other outfielders were always watching the birds and picking dandelions during the game. There is nothing I enjoy more than baseball, whether I'm playing a game, practicing, or studying the mechanics of the pros in the MLB, I just need to be around the game. There is rarely a moment during the day where it doesn't cross my mind. If I need to work on a certain aspect of my game, it will bother me every single day until it is corrected. I am very passionate and determined in all my actions to complete the task at hand whatever it may be. I refuse to lose and will never quit, while taking pride in my work ethic. I am determined to excel athletically as well as academically at the collegiate level no matter what. I understand that baseball is a privilege, and not a right. I aspire to play at the collegiate level, and get drafted into the MLB in the future, and I will make that happen no matter what life throws at me. I am lucky that I am able to play this game at a high level and I will play my heart out every day of my life until I am physically unable to any longer. In the words of Babe Ruth, "Baseball was, is and always will be the best game in the world."
