Anthony Loia '22 Recruiting Profile

   Baseball is my passion.  Although I am an academics first guy, I love everything about baseball.  The work,  the practice reps, the weight room.  I find  the process of improvement to be very fulfilling.  I love the environment of being around the guys and pushing each other to accomplish goals. I'm a pretty even keeled guy which I think helps me in an up and down sport like baseball. I may seem "stoic" at first glance, as my High School coach likes to joke, but the fire to compete and win rages inside me. I've been playing baseball every year since T-Ball . I can and have played every position on the field adequately . I am really excited to compete at the collegiate level.  I also love science, as I find it fascinating and have a keen knack for chemistry.  I plan to major in biology and pursue a career in the medical, pharmaceutical or health science field.
