I’m a dedicated high school senior passionate about baseball and academics. I’m looking for a college that offers excellent academic programs and a competitive athletic environment where I can grow as a player and person.
Baseball has been a significant part of my life since I was young. I've played for the same local travel baseball team since I was 8 years-old, reflecting my loyalty and commitment to my teammates and coaches. My high school career has had its share of ups and some downs both personally and as a team, and I’ve stayed focused on my goals and kept pushing forward. These experiences have taught me the value of teamwork and perseverance.
Recently, I've been training with Tread Athletics, where I’ve embraced the importance of taking responsibility for my athletic development as a pitcher. I strive to apply these lessons and give my best effort to make even small improvements every day.
My baseball journey includes four years of working at JustinTime Baseball, where I've trained and mentored 8-12-year-olds.This role has helped me develop my leadership and communication skills, reinforced my love for the game, and inspired me to keep getting better every day.
Academically, I’m very interested in economics and investing. I follow the stock market closely and have invested a small amount of money in stocks that I monitor regularly. My interest in economics goes hand in hand with my love of math, and I’m excited to pursue these subjects further in college.
Family is incredibly important to me, and my values are deeply rooted in my strong relationships with my loved ones. My Colombian grandmother, who was my nanny, has had a huge impact on my life, instilling discipline, cultural pride, and empathy. The tragic loss of my 18-year-old cousin in a motorcycle accident last year and my mom’s recent battle with breast cancer have profoundly shaped my perspective, highlighting the importance of resilience and support.
In college, I hope to continue my baseball career at a school that values both academic and athletic excellence. I’m confident that my dedication, teamwork, and passion for learning will make me a valuable addition to any college program. I look forward to contributing to a collegiate team while growing both academically and personally.
