Nick Ferraro '18 Recruiting Profile

I am a hardworking kid with the desire to play college baseball since a young age and will work as hard as i can to reach that goal. I may not be the tallest kid on the field but i believe baseball is the great equalizer and hard work makes up for it. I am very focused on my schoolwork and grades. I am only a freshman so i am yet to take the SAT'S. On my club and school teams i bat 1,2,3 and mostly play shortstop or second base but i am willing to play or bat anywhere. i am working very hard on becoming a switch hitter as well . In 2011 after winning a Triple Crown Sports tournament with my team the New York Avalanche i received the all northeast offensive player of the year award. I have played travel baseball my whole life with the all time goal of playing college baseball at any level.
