The day I picked up my first baseball and bat, I immediately fell in love with the sport and as I got older, I knew I wanted to compete at the college level. My love for the game goes even farther than playing, as I coach a youth baseball team with my father and try to inspire and help young kids to achieve their own baseball goals and grow their own love for the sport just like me. At an early age I was always an incredibly skilled and standout player but once High School hit, the skill gap started to close. This is when I grew the most and the moment that shaped me into who I am today. I had the realization that everyone around me was working harder than I was and that did not sit right with me. That experience helped me grow and re-focus on my goal of playing at a college level, along with showing me that if I want to achieve this goal, I need to work harder than everyone else for it in the classroom and on the field.

I have been fortunate enough to be involved in fantastic school and club baseball programs that have taught me the value of determination, sacrifice, teamwork, and most importantly, leadership. I am a real student of the game looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as in the classroom. I am very young for my graduating year, so I have a lot more time for your program to help me develop and reach my full potential compared to those around me. I believe I not only have the talent to compete collegiately, but the coachability, work-ethic, focus, and leadership skills to make a major impact on your program. As a captain, player, and coach, I know that I have what it takes to excel on your team and can’t wait to prove it!
