Riley Derenzo '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing baseball since i was 3 and travel ball since i was 10. Baseball has always been the love of my life and there has been times where I‘m not the strongest on the field or even the best but I am the most devoted. It has always been my goal to make it big in baseball and I will keep working hard and do everything in my power to make that dream come true. I am always looking to do what’s best for my team whether it is step up and be that leader or be right there listening to a leader I will always be there to pick my teammates and the team up. I look to make strong bonds and connections with my team. As a baseball player there’s been a few things that make me stand out yea my glove has always been the most noticeable about me but what is good about my glove is my hustle to make any and every play the will to go all out every time to make sure I did everything I could to try to make the play but what really separates me is my iq in the game i’ve known and loved this game my entire life so I am really smart when it comes to in game situations with what to do and what I could do. I am not a big power hitter but I am a contact hitter I will not go down without a fight I rarely strike out I hit line drives and find ways to get a hit i have the best on plane effiency %(avg) in NY for 2023 and top 3 best for whole entire state.My main goal is to make a positive impact on my coach, teammates, classmates, teachers, and hopefully the team overall.
