Gevin Nixon '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Gevin Nixon and my goals are to first find an institution with a superlative academic history, but where I can also pursue my dream of playing college baseball.  I would like to major in the fields of engineering or construction with an emphasis on welding.  I have been playing baseball since the age of 5 and have always worked hard in pursuing my dream of playing ball after high school.  I am a hard worker and a quiet leader.  I lead by example, on and off the field.  I am a middle infielder with a strong glove and a head for the game.  At the plate, I am a singles and doubles hitter that hits to all fields.  I am easily coachable and a great teammate.  I have played on teams tha have advanced far into the state playoffs and also on all-star teams that have won district titles and participated in state championships.  I play to win, but play the game the right way.
