Personal Statement

During my years of growing up my Father and Mother have pushed me to do my very best in whatever I pursued. My father has served over 20 years in the military and my mother has worked in the school system for over 20 years. I have learned many traits, characteristics and responsibilities that apply on the field but off the field as well. Growing up as a military brat has been a very challenging and rewarding experience. I believe by growing up in a structured, stable and disciplined environment has given me the tools that I will need to be successful in a college environment and to carry on with life after college. By being surrounded by men and women that have served their country has taught me about honor and sacrifice. I feel that I have the dedication, determination and drive to play sports in college. I am a hard worker that loves the game of baseball. I have a determination to acheive on the field and I work just as hard off the field and in the classroom. I understand that the level of competition in college is great so it gives me the drive to work harder even when I don't feel like working hard. I have a positive get along well attiude with my teammates, classmates and friends. I have already acheived some accomplishments while in high school as a freshman. I was selected for Student Leadership Improvement Committee (SLIC) which was a honor for me. I was selected by a panel of teachers based upon my personal character and attitude. While attending college I would like to major in Business. I have a life long passion to attend college and play baseball.  I am very open to different types of schools and a geographical preference does not matter to me. In closing, I would like to add that playing baseball in college is important but I already have learned that the quality of education is my main concern because I know that I will need a quality education in order to carry on in life after playing sports.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
