I started playing baseball as a toddler in my grandparent's front yard and have continued to develop my skills into the game I love. When I was 7 years old I started to play on recreation leagues and then joined travel teams. Although I enjoy all aspects of the game, my favorite position in baseball is pitching. I enjoy standing on the pitcher's mound knowing that my team depends on me to lead the team. Personally, I tend to be very quiet and not really talkative or outgoing. Once I step on the mound my persona changes and I enjoy being able to lead with quiet confidence.
Baseball has given me so many opportunities that I would have never had otherwise. It has allowed me to travel and play in large tournaments that have allowed me to compete against some of the best players in the country. I have been named to Perfect Game's ALL-Tournament team numerous times. I was named " 2021 Pitcher of the Year" in the Western Piedmont NC 2A conference and named Honorable Mention on the NC All-State Team. My ERA for the 2021 season was 1.35 and led the conference in strikeouts. The highest point so far has been throwing a no-hitter in conference play and a no-hitter in travel ball with write-ups in our local paper. I am so fortunate to have had many dedicated coaches and talented teammates that have helped mold and develop me into the player I am today.
I have a strong work ethic. I work full-time for a landscaping business during the summer and have started my own lawn care business. I also make working out a priority and try to better myself during the season and in the off-season. Any school that would allow me to play for them I promise that I will give you my best and work hard for the team.
