Hello- My name is Peyton Smith. I am a young (August 30th, 2003) 2021 high school graduate. I have been a starting pitcher on my high school varsity baseball team since 9th grade. I am currently the leader in my conference in ERA, wins, and strikeouts as a Sophomore. I have grown a lot since my first start on the mound as a 9th grader, facing batters who were 3 to 4 years older than me. Mainly I have learned CONTROL: Control of my pitches, Control of my emotions, Control of the game tempo. My confidence has improved because I know I am prepared. I work daily, year-round to better myself on the mound and at the plate by working with a hitting and pitching coach, working out daily , and learning a band program for arm strength and recovery. I am stronger physically and emotionally. My ultimate goal is to play baseball in College. I want to help my team be dominant and win. I would love to get a great education while playing the sport I love.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and I hope you will consider me as a student athlete at your school.
