Hello!!!
Thank you for reviewing my profile, I appreciate the consideration and your time. I’d love to tell you a little more about who I am and why I’d be a good fit for your university and team.
First off, I'm a very good student. I’ve always been a high honor roll student and continue to uphold straight A’s. I have a desire to learn, acquire new skills, and knowledge. I am looking for a university that I can represent with pride in my education and my team. I’m currently undecided on what major I would like study right now. I am leaning towards Artificial intelligence, Engineering, or Computer Programing.
I’m a quality stand-up individual. I stay out of trouble, I’m more of a calculated person vs go with the flow. I’m not against the flow, I’m just not out searching for approval from my peers, I like to forge my own path and strive toward my personal goals. My current goals are to continue to be at the top of my class, then be signed by a Division 1 school, get a first class education, win a College World Series, and then be drafted into professional baseball. Lofty goals I know, but my dad says why set a goal that is easy, go for everything that you want. If you give your goals 100% effort, then you will have no regrets.
Finally, I love baseball. If I were able to do one thing my entire life it would be to play ball every day. I believe I am a strong team player, the success of my teammates is a reflection on me and the job that I have done on and off the field. I feel that my job as a catcher is to be a vocal leader and make everyone on the field a little better. I’m not a showboater or mouthy individual. I feel my play should speak for itself. I am a very coachable person. I usually pick up on things that coaches teach after the first or second time of explaining. I am not afraid to ask questions if I am unsure or do not understand the lesson. I have been very fortunate to study baseball with Danny Sheaffer for over five years. Danny is a former MLB catcher and MILB Manager. Danny has helped me grow and learn the details of the game, both physically and mentally. He’s helped grow my Baseball IQ in situational baseball as well as learning how to prepare for a game. It’s given me confidence to go into a game and call a solid game for my pitchers. He’s my baseball guru.
Thank you for inquiring about me. Hopefully I have provided you with a little insight on who I am and why I’d be a good fit to play for you!
I look forward to hearing from you!
Sincerely,
Vincent R. Pannutti
