Personal Statement

I am a keen, responsible, dedicated and committed student and baseball player.  It is my goal to continue playing baseball at the University level while completing a Pre-Med program.  Attending a post secondary school in the United States has always been a goal of mine.  My baseball training has been under the direct instruction of Scott Bullett (former MLB Player for the Chicago Cubs, Pittsburg Pirates) for the past eight years.  Scott Bullett is the owner and head trainer at BP Sportspark in Welland, Ontario Canada and he is the head coach of my team, the 18u Bullettproof Prospects.  I am proud to have attended and played in many tournaments in the U.S. including the National Baseball Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana in July and recently attended a Showcase at Morehead State University in June. Last September, I played at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario in Roberto Alomar's Tournament 12 and represented Ontario on Team Green.   On August 13th and 14th, I attended the Battle Of The Border Showcase at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.  I will be completing my final grade twelve year of high school this fall and plan to attend post secondary school in the fall of 2015.  I possess a mature disposition on and off the field and continue to work on my game every day. I enjoy playing defensively on first base and have worked very hard as a power hitter offensively.  I enjoy pitching and am especially proud of my slider.   In March, I was awarded the Youth Leadership Award for my volunteer time for the last three years assisting coaching young baseball players in the indoor Baseball facility where I train.  In June I was selected as the athlete of the month for the Niagara Orthopaedic Institute in Niagara Falls. I currently have a 90% average and my highest marks are in Mathematics and Science. I would be proud to be a valuable addition to a competitive baseball team and attend as a freshman at a school that offers a successful Medical Science Program in the fall of 2015.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
