Hayden John '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Hayden John, I am a 6 foot 5, 16 year old, graduating in the Class of 2022. I live and play baseball in the Toronto area in Canada and I frequently play in American tournaments during my baseball season (May-October).  I am strong in both academics and athletics. I finished my Grade 9 (Freshman Year) year with a 92% overall average in 8 subjects, including a 98% in French where I am fully bilingual.  I also received the Varsity Male Athlete of the Year award for playing D1 Basketball, Volleyball (MVP), Softball, and Track and Field (Most Improved).  I had a 97% overall average on my Gr. 10 (Sophmore Year) report card, including a 98% in Spanish. I also played again on the D1 Basketball and Volleyball (MVP) teams.

For the past 8yrs I have played baseball for increasingly competitive teams and now play for a U16 Ontario Astros Elite Level Team. I play a variety of positions including, First Base, Outfield and Pitcher and work hard with my batting and running of the bases.   I am a dedicated team player who constantly strives for growth and improvement in every class and every game. My goals are definitely to play College Level baseball in the United States of America and to bring my hard work to future classrooms and into the gym and onto the field.
