Kento Moriyoshi '21 Recruiting Profile

I played baseball in Japan since I was 6 years old. I came to Canada for high school, so I only play baseball in the spring season in my school, but when I go back to Japan I am attending camps and practices with my team. My school team (Trinity College School Bears) is in the CISAA league in Ontario; we use the wooden bat for games. I am comfortable to use metal and wooden so I can hit well for both. In our league, we are allowed to have DH, but I hit and 2nd hitter on our team's order. I pitch since I was 10 during my junior high team in Japan,  I pitched 7 innings for most of our games. I have not had any injuries from baseball.

I would love to attend a university-level baseball team and play in a higher quality team. I know there are so many great baseball players in the world. I love to have a starting pitcher in the team, so I will work harder than anybody. I am in the varsity football team during the fall term, and I got dedication and keenness awards when I was in grade 10 & 11. I will work hard with school pride and Japanese pride!
