Rigsel Jongdong '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Rigsel Jongdong. I'm currently 16 years old and play for the Leaside Leafs 18u Elite ball club in Toronto, Ontario. I fell in love with baseball in 2016 but starting playing in 2018.  Everything about the game I loved, from taking ground balls too after practice conditioning, I was always able to find joy playing.  There is never one play that I haven't given 100%. No matter what I will always try my best.  Although at times, I have had highs and lows, I know that the most important thing is to keep my head high and flip to the next chapter of my book.  I look to pursue my academic and baseball career at a good university. I know that baseball is important but my academics come first. Having a good academic base is key to success in life and baseball is just another plus to my success. If that chance arises for a opportunity to play for a ball club, they will not regret it.
