My main goal is to get a great education in college. I’m interested in business, mathematics and science. I like these subjects because most of the time it is always a mystery that you need to figure out. I also like that they connect to everything in life and even sports like baseball.
Wherever I end up at college, I plan to play baseball there. I would be a good player and teammate for any team because I always have a positive attitude and I work hard to succeed. I simply love the game of baseball. I love playing catch, hitting and fielding balls and studying the game. I also think I am very coachable player. I'm always open to new techniques in my swing, my arm, my fielding, or my base running. I like to play anywhere on the field, coaches have sometimes called me a utility player. My favorite position on the field is catcher. I look forward to seeing what my future can become.
Coaching reference:
As one of Hunter Brown’s high school coaches and as an associate scout with the Tampa Bay Rays for the past nine years, I am comfortable commenting and projecting on his baseball future.
Hunter combines work-effort, coachability and natural athleticism to go as far as his dreams will take him. His improvement this past spring was impressive. His pop-times and blocking skills were some of the best in the league.
As a co-captain, Hunter went about his business everyday setting the bar for his teammates.
Toughness, work effort and leadership are Hunter’s strengths. His desire to excel with come true with proper instruction.
He will be fun to watch.
