My name is Dylan and I pitch and play utility outfield for Nelson High School in Happy Valley, Oregon. I am the oldest of three boys in my family. I love the game of baseball and have made it a huge priority in my life, along with my family, academics, and friendships. The biggest and most consistent compliment my parents and I receive from other parents, educators, and coaches is that I am such a personable and respectful person. I really enjoy building relationships and learning from adults that I admire. I’ve always been very outgoing, and respect is a character trait I pride myself on. I believe in shaking peoples hands when I meet them and giving great eye contact. I am a great teammate and leader. When I’m not studying or playing baseball, I work as an umpire during the week as my schedule allows, and for a concrete company on Sundays. My mom is a nurse and was the first in her family to go to college, and I have learned hard work and dedication to my dreams through my parents. My goal is to attend a college that has good academic offerings, healthy culture, and a competitive baseball program. It would be my dream to pitch for the college I attend, while obtaining a great education.
