Quinn Santelli '24 Recruiting Profile

Hey Coaches,

I am Quinn Santelli. I am currently a Senior at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. I play baseball for the love of the game. I chose baseball at a very young age and have been getting better ever since. I have always dreamed of being on a D1 college baseball team since I knew I had a chance. As I have progressed through my career, I've realized that I have a shot to play in college, even if it's not at a D1 school.

Neither of my parents played a sport in or past high school, so I was not blessed with lots of athletic ability. But, my work ethic and positive attitude led me to be a First-Year Letter Recipient and now to the success I am currently having.  

Off the field, I am a committed scholar with a small friend group and offer dozens of hours to service projects at my school. As far as my academics, I am a very committed student. My grades hover between A's and B's, but never lower. All through Middle School and High School, I have always been in very advanced math, English, and science classes. I have a great appreciation for my education because my parents and especially my grandfather have taught me how far a proper education can get you. To that point, I realized that academically although I could get into a good school I may not be able to play baseball. My current goal that I am working towards every day is to get into a school on an athletic scholarship while getting the best education I can.

Overall, I may never be the tallest kid on the field. But, through workouts and training, I've developed to look and play like the strongest, smartest, best player on the field I can be every day.
