I am an athlete with self confidence, a strong work ethic, and a love for the game. At six foot three, one hundred seventy five pounds, I dominate the field as a pitcher and third baseman. I have played travel ball for seven years. I have played in junior legion for three years and senior legion ball for two years. I am a seasoned ball player. I was a varsity starter since I started high school. I have competed at the state level multiple times and I am actively pursuing a place on your college team.
I feel most at home on the pitcher's mound. I am known for throwing heat, while reading the batter's next move. I come to the mound with a unique perspective. I began my high school career as a starting catcher for varsity. I would then switch to the starting pitcher in junior varsity.I have experience playing the ball from both sides of the home plate. I feel that gives me the opportunity to see a relationship that is necessary on the field from various stand points. I understand the trust and bond that a catcher and pitcher must possess.
I have learned through my baseball career that you must believe in yourself and always be there for your team. I understand the pressure and excitement of your team depending on you. I realize the importance of supporting my fellow players. Whether I am on the mound, a base, or the bench, I am there for my team. I have not always been the fastest base runner or the heaviest hitter but I made that my goal and I have achieved it. I was determined to best the best that I could be. I got to my pitching coach lessons. I hit the gym. Most of all, I never stopped trying. As I enter my senior year of baseball, I am eager to prove how much I can bring to plate.
My ultimate goal is to find a college that best fits my academic standard and my passion for baseball. I am highly motivational academic student who loves a challenge. I am excited to get involved in sports, my community, and my school. I take rigorous, weighted classes. I look forward to dual enrollment next year. I feel math is my strength, which can be an asset on the field! I look forward to visiting colleges and hearing about the opportunities that await. It is a wonderful time to play baseball!
