Quinten Scott '12 Recruiting Profile

I have room to grow into my body, gain muscle since I've been labeled as slender. My speed is getting better and have been working on it my whole high school career, I've knocked a second and a half off my 60 yard dash time. As a freshman, I was labeled as the junior varsity captain by the coach. Over the winter into my sophomore year I scheduled winter practices and thought I deserved the captaincy for varsity but wasn't a senior so i didn't get the vote.  I always leave everything thing on the field, I never walk off the field with any regrets. When I'm in practice I always go all out because I know the competition is most likely doing the same thing if not more. I always have a positive attitude, always telling my teammates not to othrow helmets or punch the walls, there's no point in doing that. Take it all out on the ball! I'm looking for a school with good school spirit and with my major (Communications & Mass media). I want to be proud of the college I go to, it seems like everyone i go to high school with goes to URI and i don't want that. I want to get out in the world and meet new people. I have never drank or smoked and don't plan on it so I'm not looking for a "party school'. I think my mother is planning on applying for finanical aid with me. Realistically, I just want to make the team in college and slowly work my way up to being a good influence and impact player. Instead of being the superstar I'd rather have a team that bonds and plays for each other, leaving it all on the field for everyone around them.
