My name is Greyson Moore. I have many goals when it comes to baseball. I have loved baseball since I was a little kid. I've made many long lasting friend ships along the way which makes it so rewarding. I am a very competitive person, I strive to be my best in everything that I do. I have been playing on my high schools varsity baseball team since the 8th grade. I have worked very hard for everything that I have earned. My freshman year our team won the state championship. I would say that I was a key player in that run. I won 3 out of the 6 games as a pitcher in the playoffs along with 2 saves including the last strikeout to win the state championship. My sophomore year went very well also. I went 9-1 as the number 1 starting pitcher. I put up a 1.62 ERA with 80 strikeouts in the season. Unfortunately we lost in the state championship in heartbreaking fashion in the 3rd game. Now as a junior I have realized how much I have progressed since 8th grade year. I went from topping out at about 75 then to 87 now. All of the hard work that I have put in has finally paid off, but I am far from done. I plan to surpass all of my expectations and be one of the best pitchers in my state.
