Hunter Griggs '26 Recruiting Profile

I started playing baseball at 4 years old. I've found that baseball is my escape from the everyday stress life throws at me. For that time, I'm in my element and free of all my troubles. When I'm not on the field, I'm working on my studies. I understand that baseball will not be with me forever and I must 1st establish my education to carry me the days after I've had to put up my cleats. In the classroom and on the field I strive to be better each day, but also understand that perfection can't be obtained. I look for learning moments each day and thrive for days when I have failed at a task, for it's these times that I can truly learn and grow. Not from actually failing, but from learning what I did incorrectly and how to better improve myself for the next time I'm in that situation.
