I want to choose a college that meets my academic goals. I want to play college baseball but I don't want to sacrifice my education. I'm personally on track to graduate valedictorian and I want to use that accomplishment to show my college coaches how dedicated I am in the classroom and to their program. I also transfer that mentality to the field and my workouts. I don't like feeling that someone has outworked me for that day. I feel that I'm a strong leader by encouraging my teammates but also consciously making right decisions. I take "setting the example" very seriously. I feel average doesn't cut it. I do the Mirror Test everyday after practice or after games. Can I look myself in the eye and say that I gave it my all?
