Hello, I’m Tyler Goehring. I am a senior student-athlete at Elk Point-Jefferson High School in Elk Point, SD and I am looking to move onto college and achieve my dreams of graduating from a 4 year university with a degree in Physical Therapy. Baseball has been a passion of mine ever since I was a little kid. My will to compete and be the best at everything I do, drives me to be better every day in both sports and academics. I put just as much effort into excelling academically as I do in shining as an athlete. I truly believe that athletics and academics go hand in hand, as succeeding in one of these components allows for an individual to succeed in the other.
My goal has always been to play baseball in college and at the highest level of competition. My ideal athletic experience would be one where I could make a contribution early in my collegiate career, hopefully as a freshman. I strive to be an impact player, always looking at how to help my team win. What I can offer your team is speed, quickness, agility, baseball knowledge, intelligence and a positive attitude. What you get is a player who has the drive, determination, intensity, hustle, and who understands sacrifice and hard work.
I’d like to tell you a little bit about my background and accomplishments. I am a 4 sport student-athlete, lettering in basketball, football ,track and baseball, as well as a 3 year academic letter winner. Here is a list of a few accomplishments:
