My personal goal is to continue playing baseball in college and graduate with a degree. I have a lot of passion and heart for the sport of baseball. My aspiration is to help a College/University institution win a National Championship. I am a great student-athlete in the class room and my grades are always first priority. Getting a bachelors degree is a necessity and high priority when I go to college. I'm different from other recruits by several things. I am an athlete that is easy to coach. I am a team player and understand that Success= 3 parts. Preparation, Hard Work, Team Player. I am a special athlete that sports come easy to me. From the baseball diamond to the gridiron or wrestling mat, i'm a gifted athlete that works hard every day to be a better athlete and asset to the team. I'm unselfish and always put the team ahead of myself.

- uting Report 1B/LHP POSITION PROJECTION 12/27/2020 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 Griffin is a tall, athletic 1B/LHP who will graduate in 2023. At the plate is where he shows best, displaying well above average hitting abilities through a squared setup. Hands are quick (82 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. At the event, he was 3 for 7. At 1B, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls and plays through with his body. He is a quality receiver at the bag, displaying proper footwork. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 68-70 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 1/7 shape with gradual break. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable. With 3 years to further develop, Griffin has potential with time and room to progress his game.
