From a young age, three to be exact, I began my love for the game of baseball. Each year that passes, my love and respect for the game grows tremendously. So I knew that I would have to work hard in order to reach my goal of playing collegiate ball. I have my parents to thank for seeing my love for the game. They have travelled many miles and sat through tons of games and practices to ensure that I will be ready to play at the next level. My coaches from little league to travel ball to high school ball have expanded my knowledge for the game of baseball. Over the years, my coaches would consistently tell me I was a very coachable kid. Seeing how well I interacted with my teammates, they leaned on me to be the leader of the team and encourage my teammates to work hard and be dedicated. I lead by example because I am the player that comes early and the last to leave. I always give 110% at practices and during games. Practicing hard makes me feel prepared for games so that I can play loose and have fun. Collegiate ball is one of my goals but I also want to excel in my academics. As of right now I am undecided of what I want to pursue when I go to college. However, I do know that I will dedicate my time to my studies in order to be successful. I know that I am going to continue to grow mentally and physically. I take pride in all that I do and plan to continue to work hard and always strive to be my best on and off the field.
