What influenced my life the most growing up was being without my father. Growing up without my father in my life was hard, but me playing sports like football and basketball took my mind off that situation. Watching my mom and my grandmother work hard inspired me to reach a point in life were I could become that person that can change my world for me and my family. I became interested in football in the 3rd grade. I was watching a college football game on television and I loved how those players were running and faking the other opponents on the field. I was so impressed by them that I joined a little league football team, and from the 3rd grade to the 7th football was my life.
I've learned that I have a gift of speed, a good height for the sport, and an amazing drive to play this sport. Currently I am working on maintaining my 3.0 GPA and preparing for a future in Engineering Design in college. I want my career choice to be a blessing to my family. The biggest obstacle I've had to face is choosing between football and basketball, because I love playing both sports, I chose to do both but play at different times of the school year. I can say my best characteristics are my height, speed, and to be able to get down the field fast and to get the ball in the air when needed.
