To whom it may concern,
Hello and thank you for allowing me to introduce myself and give you a little information about my personal life, goals, and future education expectations i have set for myself. My name is Braedon Adam Andrade but go by Brady. I'm 16 years of age, 5'9 150 pounds and from a small town called Bishop Tx. I have a older brother who played football all his life until his varsity days. I also have a younger sister who also plays travel softball and plays for Marucci. My mother is a hardworking person who is in the medical field and my father who also played football and was captain 2 years in Highschool and went on to play at Cisco Collège on a scholarship. He is now employed through CCISD district.
Baseball to me is like going to church, many may attend but very few understand. With i mean is that baseball since i was three yeas old, this game has been my life as much as going to mass every Sunday with either my parents or my aunt. I have been part of the church by going to religion class earning my first communion to my confirmation to being and alter server. At 3 years old my father put me in teeball and from their at 5u put me on a travel team, and have been on one ever since. Yes I have been on those long flites , long drives, early mornings, late games , late drives home everything that came with this territory. As of today i play for the STX Sliders travel squad and could not be more pleased with this ball club, coaches etc. I just finished my summer ball season with the slider batting first in the lineup starting second base , also played shortstop and third. I ended the summer with a 500. batting average , no errors { fielding } and first in RBI's. I plan to do showcases with the organization as they come in the fall and some on my own.
As i mentioned above i play for Bishop High school and entering my junior season. My school is a baseball town, so much rich tradition in the baseball program its so unreal to even be a part of it.. My brother ,and numerous of cousins have played here and graduated and watching do so as a kid gave me so much inspiration to carry on the tradition. I was always so excited to go watch the varsity as a kid to the day i got to wear the uniform myself. i was able to start as a freshman , yes a freshman which not many individuals i know ever got the opportunity to do so. I started second base for the Bishop badgers and received 2nd team all district as a freshman. Made history in the town , program and in my family. My sophomore year i also received, defensive player of the year which both honors were received in district 31-4a. First time ever in bishop program , since we always been 3a but moved up to 4a my freshman and sophomore year now back down to 3a. But had a made playoffs both years and to round 4 my sophomore year.
Now as I enter my junior year i have higher expectations. I ended my sophomore year with a 3.4 GPA. I have not yet taken my SAT OR ACT test at the moment as i am studying as of now to be well prepared to take them this year. To be continued. I plan to strive harder to raise my GPA and excel in what other extra curriculums i will do.
My goals and expectations are to play at the next level, to play at a University or collage that best suits my baseball goals and education preferences. My first goal yes is to see how far i can make it with my baseball career but want to study Education teaching and coaching, like my dad , aunts and uncles. They all are in education with my aunt being the superintendent at Bishop CISD. I also wanted to do emt and fireman. Like my father he volunteers here in Bishop as a fireman alongside his full time job. I'm so blessed to have a family has pushes me be great, to be a better person than yesterday.
I love to be a leader not a follower, I love to help others , give to others, give to the poor any change i have. My parents raised me with great morals and to be humble and hardworking. I cut yards do labor work to earn money when i can , i believe you have to earn everything that you want because the world does not meet you half way. I love to help younger kids play baseball , kids that don't have the resources to pay for lessons , so i do what i can to help. My father coaches kids and when I'm there with him i help him also train kids to help them reach their goals as well. that's why i fell i earned to start as a freshman. When my friends were at home on the weekends , there i was on the road playing baseball tournaments , sacrificing so much, but would not want it any other way. I'm so blessed and proud of my accomplishments so far and i only tend to give all that i have to give to my studies , first God , family, baseball etc.
As a final note, i want to say to who ever this may concern , thank you for the opportunity to allow to tell my short story of who i am , my goals and achievements' and to be able to tell you more as my journey continues.
