Sebastián Mejia '23 Recruiting Profile

As a student athlete, my main goals are to be able to play baseball at a collegiate level and to be able to earn a doctorates degree  while playing the game I love.  Attributes that would make me a great candidate for any team are that I am self-motivated and self disciplined on and off the field. I believe I'm organized and willing to put in the hard work it takes to  fight for a starting position on the diamond.  I believe my leadership abilities  can add to a successful program because  I will lead by setting the example and get my teammates to play  as hard as I do. What makes me different from other recruits is that I listen to what my coaches  tell me and  can apply the  instruction taught to me right away. I am a fierce competitor and love a challenge and with the grace of GOD, I will prove to my coaches and teammates that I was a great choice for their program.  I want to make a point that I have never touched drugs or drank alcohol.  I fish and hunt when I am not playing Baseball.
