Hello Coaches, My name is Jose Antonio Hernandez jr. and I play Varsity Baseball at Rivera Early College Highschool in Brownsville, Texas. I’ve played baseball since I was 3 and have had the dream to play college ball since I was 8. I’ve played 4 years in Varsity. Working hard is in my blood and I feel that is my greatest strength. My coach can tell you that I am the hardest worker that you will ever see. Im always the first one in and the last one out. I’m always looking to improve . Everything I have wasn’t handed to me. I always tell myself “there is always someone else working harder than you” and I say that to push me to get to where I need to be, not only for me but for the team. Whether it’s in my swing or when I’m on the mound. I feel I have natural Leadership in me and I hope I can one day lead a collegiate team to a championship. I don’t have a lot of money to go out on a travel ball team to go upstate to camps and tournaments but I will be uploading a video soon. My goal isn’t only to go play college ball and get a degree, my goal is to make my mom and my whole family proud and to have them feel that they didn’t go through all that hardship for nothing, so that I know that the work I put in was worth that scholarship. I am very serious about playing at the Collegiate level. If you take a chance on me, you won’t regret it.
