I've been playing baseball since I was 5 years old. Through baseball I've learned to be patient, and I've learned that mistakes happen. I have very high standards for my self and when I made a mistake I would get frustrated and it would lead to more mistakes. But after years of playing I've learned to deal with mistakes when they do happen. Throughout my athletic career so far I've been lucky. I haven't had any major injuries or setbacks. A coach once told me that student athletes are students before athletes, and I take academics very seriously. My goal is to be superintendents scholar, an award given to students who keep a 90 or above average in all core classes, for all 8 semesters of my high school career. Playing baseball since I was 5 I've noticed that I'm able to pick up on little flaws in my swing or mechanics in the field. I'm able to notice the mistake and then fix it.
