Zane Grigsby '15 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goal is to earn a degree in Pre-medicine while playing baseball at the highest level I am capable.  Afterwards I plan to attend medical school with emphasis on orthopedics.  Regarding baseball, I strive to be a student of the game.  I refuse to quit; challenging situations push me to improve.  I am fully capable of calling a game from behind the plate, and taking control of the field. I understand both offensive and defensive situational baseball.  When I was presented the Falcon Gold Glove Award (2014 Defensive Player of the Year), my head baseball coach emphasized my work ethic, team play, and understanding of the game.

Academically, I currently hold a 3.7/4.0 GPA while playing varsity baseball, high school rodeo, and being in numerous clubs, organizations, and associations.  I am following the Texas Distinguished Degree Plan, and participated in Teen Leadership Amarillo/Canyon in 2013/2014.
