Steven Evans '23 Recruiting Profile

 My name is Jackson Evans. I am 18 years old and currently a Junior at Cumby High School, Class of 2023. My plans for the future are to attend a college/university that will provide me with a great education in Mechanical Engineering, while continuing my baseball career.  These are two areas that I am very passionate about and to be able to do both at the same time would be a blessing.

I have played baseball since I was 4 years old and truly have a love for the game on and off the field. I am athletic, coachable, and consider my teammates family. I take practices and games seriously and give my best effort at all times. I am a utility player but my favorite position is the outfield. I work hard every day to improve so I can be ready to compete at the next level.

In both academics and sports I am determined, focused and have a strong work ethic. My character is based upon my religious beliefs and my upbringing. I was raised and taught to be honest, compassionate, and true to myself. These are the values that I practice daily in my life.
