- Top Prospect: Gavin McKnight has some things to like offensively with a clean and connected swing while the arm strength showed really well both in the infield and from his primary spot behind the dish but it was on the mound where he was the most impressive. He was 85-86 for 2 innings on a good fastball, showed healthy feel to spin the breaker and gets a ton of arm side action on the changeup giving him a projectable and good 3 pitch mix. During Game: Gavin McKnight (2024 C, Shady Shores, TX) opened the morning on the mound and was really good in terms of the stuff and results. He sat 85-86 for 2 innings, throwing good strikes with it, and went to 2 good secondaries, a sharp curveball with good bite and depth, and a changeup with good late arm side diving action. It's an intriguing 2-way profile with feel to pitch and projection.
