“The service you do for others is the rent you pay for your room here on Earth.”- Muhammad Ali. All my life I have been taught by word and example from my parents that servicing others and showing kindness without expecting anything back is essential for a character of good quality. This has set my foundation and morals. Honor, ethics, and responsibility are major pillars of character. In my everyday life I respect everyone equally no matter who they are. I’ll give a custodian the same respect I give the principal, and this goes to the theme of honor. Ethics to me are valuable assets, it shows how a person goes about things while using their values to overcome situations. Responsibility is a key factor for a person’s success. It requires you to put pressure on yourself to accomplish tasks. As a scholar and baseball player in my everyday life I show these attributes when putting maximum effort in my roles.
Some achievements I am most proud of, would be receiving two Golden Presidential Awards and playing in and leaving a footprint in the Babe Ruth World Series. These achievements are memorable to me because it shows me that hard work pays off.
I am currently a junior, taking multiple dual credit courses. I am working towards obtaining a medical assistant’s certificate by the time I graduate C.C. Winn. I am a big dreamer and set my goals very high. One of my goals would be working in the medical field as a pediatrician. Due to my qualities, the thought of helping people brings joy to me. Another big goal is to be part of the Major League Baseball organization. It may sound farfetched but being a professional baseball player would be taking my passion for baseball to another level.
